The news conference for the ISO 24603: 2022 on requirements for human and mouse pluripotent stem cells (PSCs) was held on September 24 in Beijing. China took the lead in creating the standards. The standards specify requirements for the biobanking of human and mouse PSCs.

China's FAST telescope recently captured for the first time in the world the magnetic ebb and flow within an astronomical unit of a repeating Fast Radio Burst beyond the Galaxy, according to a study published on September 21 in the journal Nature.

The two satellites of Shiyan-14 and Shiyan-15 carried by Kuaizhou-1A lifted off from the Taiyuan Satellite Launch Center on September 25. The launch marked the 18th flight mission of the Kuaizhou -1A series rockets. The two satellites would conduct scientific experiments, technology verifying, and land surveying.
