Forcing Others to Pick Sides in AI Gains No Support

Every country has the right to participate in international initiatives based on its own needs. In AI, a critical sector concerning future economic growth and national security, it is natural for countries to seek in-depth cooperation with multiple partners and draw on diverse technological resources.

Demanding that other countries make a binary choice between different technological systems is typical tech hegemonism.

Forcing other nations to pick sides gains no support and will ultimately leave the U.S. in an isolated position with few allies.
