Olive Leaf Initiative's Competition Kicks Off
The Olive Leaf Initiative, one of China's non-profit science and experimental platforms in space, has launched the 2026 Global Scientific Payload and Intelligent Application Competition.
The competition, a central pillar of the initiative, is accepting proposals for innovative space scientific payloads and intelligent space applications.
It is open to participants worldwide, with no restrictions on nationality, age, or institutional background.
The competition focuses on two key tracks: in-orbit scientific payload experiments and validation of space intelligent applications.
The proposals and projects selected through the review process will be included in the initiative’s scientific payload and application innovation repository, and given priority for integration in future in-orbit missions.
The specific arrangements for in-orbit verification, engineering timelines, and resource allocation will be determined by the organizers, taking into account mission windows, engineering compatibility, compliance review, and resource availability.
The organizers include Xiong'an Science Park, Zhejiang Lab, and Hong Qing Technology.
