2026-07-08 16:55:04 来源: IUSTC 点击数:

This year marks the 75th anniversary of Cambodia’s membership in UNESCO. During this long-standing partnership, Cambodia has successfully inscribed 14 of its outstanding cultural heritages onto global registers: four World Heritage sites, seven Intangible Cultural Heritage items, and three entries in the Memory of the World Register.

In the realm of cultural heritage, Cambodia is home to Angkor, the Temple of Preah Vihear, the Temple Zone of Sambor Prei Kuk, and the Koh Ker Archaeological Site, all of which have been inscribed by various international bodies.

Cambodia’s traditional cultural arts have also earned global acclaim. The Royal Ballet of Cambodia, Sbek Thom (Khmer Shadow Theatre), Tugging rituals and games, Chapei Dang Veng, Lkhon Khol Wat Svay Andet, Kun Lbokator (Khmer martial arts), and woven textile Krama Khmer have all been successfully added to the Representative List of the Intangible Cultural Heritage of Humanity.

The Tuol Sleng Genocide Museum Archives, the Audio Archives of Reamker recited by grandmaster Ta Krut, and the literary work Inao-Bousiba have been inscribed in the Memory of the World Register.
