WGDC26 World Geospatial & Spatial Intelligence Expo Held in Beijing

Themed "Spatial-Temporal Intelligence as a Service, Building the Bedrock of the Digital World," the WGDC26 World Geospatial & Spatial Intelligence Expo was held in Beijing from May 20 to 21.
With five core functions—forums, competitions, awards, exhibitions, and releases—the expo is dedicated to building a hub that fuses industry trends with commercial ecosystems. It aims to create an international comprehensive platform with an integrated conference and exhibition model for the spatio-temporal intelligence sector.
In his keynote speech, Li Deren, an academician of both the Chinese Academy of Sciences and the Chinese Academy of Engineering, pointed out that spatio-temporal intelligence is a necessary path for AI to move from the virtual to the physical world. It makes people smarter and drives the development of new quality productive forces.
He emphasized the need to create a unified ecosystem that fuses communication, navigation, remote sensing, and computing, to better serve diverse needs and cultivate new quality productive forces.
